So lays the dead, the unfortunate; A soul taken to a higher plane, free from earthy burdens, an existence so pure, a world so vast beyond our comprehension... True peace of mind.
Free from all chains and shackles, free from the pain at last.

Mourning... Great Human Woe

This life of disturbance, my sick reality. This is no world I wish to face.
A life now seen from the eyes of the broken, an empty void of a man.
Tragedy and panic claim my psyche, my mind sits cold; soul full of pain.
Anxious, unstable, stuck envisioning thoughts of death.
With no control, all worry in hand, the sun falls low foreshadowing a terrible truth coming down on me, a terrible truth I refuse to believe. The sound of silence, the calm before the storm. My shouting echoes, my knees drop to the floor.
Eyes upon the truth, I whisper in dismay... 'so death has come'.

There is no solace near, there is nowhere to hide.
The hourglass will count until our end is nigh.
No second chance, no hope; I must face the painful truth.
That death is a vulture waiting for the final grain of sand to drop.
